As Liberia holds elections on October 10,2017, Liberians are yearning for the sustainability of the in the country since the intervention of the International Community, Friends of Liberia and passionate Liberians strive to promote nonviolence/peace education and focus on the improvement in the livelihood of the undeserved population categorized as disadvantaged Children , youths, women men and rural community residents, who for the two major devastating scourge of the civil crisis and that of the deadly and unprecedented ebola effect on Liberia and its inhabitants, it is hoped that the only trigger to maintaining stability in maintaining peace is the commitment by every mission driven Liberian to be practical in demonstrating the love for country and its people irrespective of status of any type/kind which in itself has for too long stratified the society with many efforts exerted with the intent to bridge the gap between the have and have not. With you in mind, a number of volunteers signed up with The Building Potentials for Transformation (BUPOTRA)Inc to volunteer their services and time and were appointed for accreditation as Natuonal Observer Organization with 62 volunteers deployed in nine counties namely: Montrerrado, Margibi, Nimba, Bong, Bomi, Lofa, Bassa, Rivercess and Sinoe Counties where BUPOTRA has its County coordinators who work with core volunteers for the purpose of reaching out to remote and isolated communities where equally exist people who feel the need to benefit and participate in sustainable ventures that help to transform their lives and promote self worth ,independence, poverty alleviation etc. In a country hit by all of the variables named above, it is an indicator of growth to see these people mostly young people turning out to participate in this National cause. Imagine being in a country hit by natural disaster with number of fatalities announced Internationally, yet these affected people in the category of their vulnerability chose to give to the rest of the compatriots the unending love on the voluntary basis. The training is scheduled to take place in centrally located Gbarnga Bong County, to enable participants travel almost equal distances. Liberia is declared ebola free after successfully completing the 42 days count down to meet that criteria. Building Potentials for Transformation observes Liberia's Electoral process-2011: BUPOTRA Inc. participated in the 2011 Electoral process in Liberia as observer organization with over 250 volunteers identified in communities in eight of Liberia's fifteen counties. The objective to involve the youths through personal development and to prepared them for the future initiatives/challenges, most of the volunteers drawn from the counties are youths. They demonstrated the passion through the organization to join efforts to promote non violence and get involve in civic engagement. The process started from the voter's registration exercise, to the referendum elections where voters went to the pools to say yes or no to the four propositions; the first and second rounds of the General and presidential elections. The participation of the volunteers happened in these counties: Lofa, Bong, Margibi, River sess, Grand Bassa, Nimba, Montserrado and Bomi where BUPOTRA Inc. currently works with volunteer coordinators to carry out its activities. BUPOTRA INC one day capacity building work shop of volunteers/staff,youths,community members and other stake holders drawn for six communities in Paynesville and Kakata, on peace building, conflict management with emphasis on non violence education in a participatory approach. Date; July ,07,2010 at the temporary office of BUPOTRA INC.
BUPOTRA INC carry's out capacity building work shop to train twenty five participants in peace building, conflict management with emphasis on non violence education. The importance of this work shop is that it is a strategy of accompanying the volunteers/staff/members and supporters of BUPOTRA INC to ensure that each one is in the better position to act in the event a situation of violence occurs in his/her immediate surrounding. This empowers the participants to reproduce the strategies and lesson learn t to the peer groups which they represent at the workshop.
The workshop involves twenty five participants who were very enthusiastic about the broadening of their understanding on the situation of violence that exist in the communities which every participated in identifying. It was interactive as the exchanges amongst the different categories of participants was frank and cordial.
Out come: The work shop impacts the participants so much that they recommended a continuation of the series of work shop and to spread it around the rest of the communities where they feel the youth population are at risk where it comes to the situation violence, lack of tolerance and low understanding of the importance of diversity.

Challenges; BUPOTRA INC faces several challenges as it relates to the lack of adequate access to the internet to research and compile resources materials for the participants, equipments to ENSURE THE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE ORGANIZATION in terms of compiling documents, copying,scanning,camera to get photos of the activities and funding support to carry out the continuation of the awareness to promote non violence, tolerance and diversity in Liberia amongst the population in Liberia.
Recommendations:
A. That funding support be awarded to BUPOTRA to enable it carry out the efficient holding of training workshop to reduce the situation of violence in the country facing the challenges as a result of the post conflict situation which is tension related.
B. That partnership and collaborating opportunity is afforded BUPOTRA to continue the initiatives it is carrying out currently by improving its training of the disadvantaged population in Liberia by providing it with necessary access to the right kind of materials/equipment to reduce the stress and difficulties related to the lack of these materials.
C. BUPOTRA Inc. recommends to the general public and philanthropist organizations and individuals to donate now to enable it help reduce the level of violence in the country through the series of work shops it embarks upon. The children and youths are termed the future leaders as such much need to be done to build their capacity in this direction
